Located on The Bank, Oswell’s specialises in artful treats and interesting gifts. Books, cards, stationery and prints sit along side natural soaps and speciality confectionary in our beautiful little shop.
From signed Matt Sewell prints and a Ravilious calendar, to a book on William Morris or an Ashmolean Museum Christmas card, art and especially printmaking is a common thread that runs throughout our carefully curated ranges. Our selection of illustrated children’s books remains ever popular, as does our array of beautiful stationery and pure wool Welsh throws.
Sitting along side Oswell’s is Moth. Curated by the owners of Gallerina in Darlington, this room showcases the very best in ceramics, textiles and artwork, by makers and artists from the UK and beyond.
So whether it’s a Lamy fountain pen, some Rococo chocolate or a Rob Ryan silkscreen you’re after, or just a birthday card, we hope that Oswell’s will inspire and delight in equal measure.
