We love chocolate. It’s as simple as that! With over 90 different luxurious handmade chocolates to choose from as well as boxed chocolates, fudges, turkish delight, marzipans and chocolate coated confectionary, you will always find something to suit every taste at Chocolate Fayre. The first thing you will notice when you walk through the door is the heavenly smell of chocolate which lingers invitingly to tempt customers towards the chocolate displays.
In 2014, the Chocolate Fayre website was launched, giving customers from all over the world access to the shop.
Open since 1985, Chocolate Fayre has an impressive reputation amongst Barnard Castle locals, as well as visitors to the town and the surrounding area of Teesdale, not only for its fabulous chocolate selection, but also for the wonderful range of ice creams available in the shop all year round, made just in the next county by our friends at English Lakes Ice Cream.
The shop is now in the hands of husband and wife team Kenny Walker and Sarah Wall, who took it on in 2013, following the retirement of the previous owners.
