A warm welcome awaits to our 4 Star, Gold Award barn conversion. This superb cosy holiday cottage has oil central heating and is situated on our farm, in the heart of beautiful Teesdale. Accommodating up to 4 guests upstairs in two en-suite bedrooms (further guests can be accommodated on a double sofa bed or a single put-up bed if required). Downstairs is open plan with kitchen, cloak room and dining area and where you can relax in the lounge by the wood burning stove while enjoying the panoramic south facing views across the patio to the fields and river in the valley below. There is a utility/boot room and lockable cycle store.
Toby Hill is in an area of outstanding natural beauty and is central to visit the wonderful attractions nearby, such as the highly acclaimed The Bowes Museum, Raby Castle, Barnard Castle, Killhope Lead Mining Centre and Beamish Museum to name but a few.
We have excellent dining options at local Inns and Restaurants nearby. There are numerous circular walks from our doorstep, the Teesdale Way passes by the farm gate or maybe you would like to follow the Pennine Way as it follows the River Tees to High Force Waterfall, the highest in England.
There are also wonderful scenic drives around the dales, where you can explore all the pretty villages and towns in this beautiful area.
