A striking visual spectacle and realistic high definition representation of the Moon that has been removed from its orbit and anchored to the ground. The construction uses a 2.5m diameter, 360º inflated spherical projection screen. The Moon image is a HD quality image taken from actual Nasa footage and projected using an internal projector.
To celebrate the 125th Anniversary of The Bowes Museum, a collection of contemporary installations in the Museum, park and town.
